Happy New 2014

Hello!  I've been very much enjoying my staycation from work.  I've gotten so much done around the house.  The garage is organized, most of the trimming and pruning in the backyard is done and several closets have been cleaned out and organized.  Feels good!

I did manage to steal an hour today for crafty time and made this card:

I used the Stamp Club Sketch #157 at the My Favorite Things blog:

I love the sketch and I thought it would be perfect for the High-Rise Numbers dies.

Did you have a fabulous holiday?  I did!  I received a mini iPad from Santa and I LOVE it!  I have it all set up for reading my books and keeping up with my favorite blogs.

And, one of the things I really want to do this year is play more golf.  I haven't played in several years. I had developed plantar fasciitis in both of my heels and the walking was painful so I stopped.  It was intended to be temporary until my heels healed, but somehow time just flew by and even after my heels got better, I wasn't ready to go back to golfing.  Well, I'm ready now.  And now these little beauties are on their way to my house:

I'm so excited!  My old irons and putter are like 30 years old - I'd say I definitely got my money's worth out of them.  I'm so looking forward to playing with the new clubs!

And I'm looking forward to a great new year!

Cheers!
