Hello! I am back with my card for the Waltzingmouse Christmas Card Challenge. Wow! Two posts in one day, mighty unusual for me. To see my card for the A Muse Studio Challenge, just scroll down.
Jen Treadway is our hostess this month. She challenges us to create a snowy scene, use snowflakes, snowmen, glittery paper, or some puffy, snow-like embellishments.
I did not know what I was going to do. I put it off and put it off, until yesterday. Then I saw this card by Cindy Hall. Cindy turned me on to this video by Sue Gillespie on how to create a starburst card. I love it! After playing around with the technique, I decided I would create a "snowburst" card. This is what I came up with:
I love how it turned out! I made a few adjustments because my card was a square and I wanted to cover more of it with the "snowburst." Easy to do and what a great way to use coordinating patterned papers! And the pretty white lace - I think it looks like a row of snowflakes.
A new challenge will be issued on the 10th of each month in the Waltzingmouse Christmas Card Challenges Forum. If you're not already a forum member, it's easy and free to sign up. The guidelines are also posted in the forum - right here.
I hope you join us!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
