Waltzingmouse March Christmas Card Challenge

Hello!  It's time for the March Waltzingmouse Christmas Card Challenge!  This month's challenge comes from Cassie Jones of Paper Addiction:  Use citrus green and navy.

Another great challenge!  I decided it was finally time to ink up Cottage Christmas and break out my Copics.  This is what I came up with:

This was definitely not a quick card to make and I will only be making this one.  It was fun but I don't have the patience to mass produce it.

After coloring the cottage, I decided it needed something extra so I brought out my Diamond Glitter from A Muse Studio and added it to the roof and little ledges on the cottage.  To create the snowy scene, I took some Enchanted Evening cardstock from PTI and sprayed it with Mister Huey's Calico White from Studio Calico.  I love how it looks like it is snowing at night.  Lastly, I added some snowdrifts that I die cut from some fine white glitter paper from DCWV.  I stamped the sentiment right on the glitter paper in black, but it came out looking gray - if you look closely, the sentiment looks like a pretty glittery silver.

If you love Christmas and Waltzingmouse stamps like I do, you need to join us every month!  It's a great way to get a head start on making your Christmas cards!

A new challenge will be issued on the 10th of each month in the Waltzingmouse Christmas Card Challenges Forum.  If you're not already a forum member, it's easy and free to sign up.  The guidelines are also posted in the forum - right here.

I hope you join us!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
