Freshly Made Sketches #78

Happy Wednesday!  It's time for a new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and I am so happy to be sharing with you today!  Jennifer Mitchell has given us a really great sketch to work with and I think it is just perfect for that spring theme.

I am in Albuquerque while I am writing this post, visiting my nieces who are on spring break at the University of New Mexico.  The daffodils and trees are just blooming here and there is a fresh breeze in the air that can only mean spring is here.  So my card, which I made before I came here, matches my mood perfectly:

I used the Birds & Blooms stamp set from Papertrey Ink which has a gorgeous wreath and can be filled with lots of pretty flowers for any season.  I choose yellow, orange and pink for spring.  Papertrey has come out with a die for the wreath now, but since I didn't have it yet, I fussy cut it.  It was pretty easy to do, but I skipped the inside.  I thought the wreath needed something a bit extra, so I added the pretty blue birds.  I am very happy with how the card turned out.

Here is the awesome sketch from Jen:
Be sure to stop by Freshly Made Sketches and check out the wonderful creations from the Clean Team!  And please come and play.  I'd love to see your take on Jen's sketch!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
