Day 6 class is about inking techniques. I really, really liked the stained class technique but I don't have all the materials to do it. But I will get them and give it a try later. So I decided to try the other inking technique which involves inking up a card panel with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and then misting a background stamp with water and stamping on the inked card panel. I changed it a little - I used Mister Huey's Calico Shine mist instead of water on the background stamp.
I never thought of inking up paper by rubbing a whole ink pad on it, but I tried that here and I really like it. It was really fast; I just went in after with a blending tool and blended out the harsh line between colors. Easy peasy.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
