Here is my version of this technique:
There were several other techniques in the lesson that I used here: scalloping the edges of the card, die cutting through the front of a card, and using a sentiment banner to float a diecut snowflake over the opening on the front of the card.
This was a fun card to work on but it did take a while to do. There is a lot going on with this card. Plus it brought out my love-hate relationship with glitter. The Diamond embossing powder is pretty cool but it is very glittery and I feel like I got it everywhere. Seriously, I need a glitter and embossing station in my craft room so that I can keep my work table clean. It'll be driving me nuts for days.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
