With Sympathy

Today I have a sympathy card for a colleague at work whose father passed away recently.  I made this card larger than normal to accommodate all the signatures and messages that will be added to it as it is passed around the office.  I used Sketch #261 from Card Positioning Systems as my inspiration.  Great sketch!

I wanted the card to have a more masculine feel so I chose the teal and olive patterned papers from Teresa Collins' Fabrications collections.  I am very happy with how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!

  2. This is beautiful Linda, the willow tree is a lovely image for a sympathy card, and the colours are suitably soft and gentle. I'm sure that your colleague will appreciate your thoughtfulness at such a difficult time.
