Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I am writing this while I am watching the game. I'm not a big sports fan but I like to watch championship games (on TV from the comfort of my sofa). Before the game started and after some house cleaning, I managed to make a card that I am submitting to two challenges today.
Papertrey Ink is celebrating their 5th anniversary this month. They will be hosting challenges and chances for prizes over the next 10 days. You can check it out on Nichole's blog. You won't want to miss it! For the first contest, Nichole challenged us to select a favorite project from one of the Papertrey Design Team members as inspiration for a project. I chose Michelle Wooderson and decided to use Papertrey's Button Boutique stamps and dies for my card.
I am also participating in another 5th anniversary celebration right now over at the Card Positioning System sketch challenge blog. So I am using the Day 8 sketch for this card too.
Well, I ended up not using the button card and stamps because it was just too big for the card; it just didn't work for me. So instead I just used the buttons I made using the dies and patterned paper. The only thing I'm not totally happy with is that bit of lace on the card; it just looks unfinished to me. Oh well, I like everything else.
Thanks for stopping by!
