Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm still here! And I'm still creating ... I just haven't been posting.

In early October I started making Christmas cards.  And then ornaments.  And then tags.  And cocoa sliders.  Yep, it's craft fair time.  At work, there is an annual craft fair in early December and last year I participated as a vendor for the first time.  It was very low key and lots of fun and I made $200. Awesome!  So I am excited about doing it again this year.  This time there will be two fairs, one at the main campus and one at another, smaller campus.  I'll be going to both.

So I jumped straight from Halloween cards to Christmas cards/projects and just skipped right over Thanksgiving.  Sorry family! No Thanksgiving cards this year.  I even bought my fresh Christmas wreath already and it's hanging on the front door.  Earliest ever for me.  We might even get our Christmas tree this weekend! Say it isn't so! Hehe!

In addition to trying to get all this crafting done, we are doing some small remodeling jobs around the house.  I got all new sliders for my kitchen drawers -- love, love, love them!  Hubby is installing new cabinet pulls and I am decluttering all the kitchen cupboards and drawers (where did all this stuff come from?).  We are painting several rooms and updating the guest bathroom.  My specialty seems to be painting doors.

And, on top of all this, the left hinge on my beloved MacBook Air started cracking.  Rats!  Off to the Apple Store's Genius Bar.  Yay!  Even though my Mac's not under warranty anymore, Apple covered the repairs so no cost to me.  After two days in the shop, I have it back and it looks brand new again.  I love Apple and the Genius Bar guys and gals are the best!

So ... I promise to post some photos soon, maybe even this weekend.

Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!  We'll be roasting a turkey, making cranberry jello and eating pumpkin pie, but that's about it as far as a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.  We're going with a mexican theme and will turn our turkey into enchiladas, flautas, and soft tacos.  Yum!
