Hubby's Birthday

Yesterday was my husband's birthday.  A while ago I saw a cute stamp set from October Afternoon and knew exactly what I wanted to do.  He loves to go hiking with our dog so I know this would be perfect for him.  I found some 12x12 paper in my stash that was perfect but I wanted to use most of it in the card, so I made a tall skinny tri-fold card.  I love how it turned out.  Here is the front of the card:

The cute little dog is from My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Tree Swing stamp set.  He looks like our dog who is always looking up in trees for squirrels.  Here is what the card looks like when open:

I stamped the bear on PTI's Dark Chocolate felt and cut him out.  I added a wiggle eye, so cute!  I love that the bear is holding the map upside down.  And the tiny little stamps from Papertrey's Enjoy the Ride stamp set were perfect for the signpost.
