Make It Monday #5

Yesterday I went to my local scrapbook store and they had some Cover-a-Card background stamps by Impression Obsession.  They looked really fun so I had to get a few of them.  They are really big cling mount red rubber stamps, 5.75" x 5.75".  There is a really big acrylic block called the Mega Mount that is slightly curved and has a big handle that you use with these large stamps.  The store didn't have any new ones in stock, but they sold me a demo for 40% off.  Yay!  Cause these big blocks are quite expensive.

One of the Cover-a-Card stamps I got was houndstooth.  Oooohh, I love, love it!  Some Dark Chocolate ink on kraft cardstock ... sigh!  So I decided to use it to make a quick and simple card for the Make It Monday #5 challenge.  This week's challenge is about the technique of distressing.  Go to Nichole's blog to watch the technique video for this challenge.  I love the distressed look.  I don't do it a lot, but when I do, I love doing it with Papertrey cardstock.

Be sure to check out the other challenge submissions here.
