Baby Blue Argyle

A friend of mine recently became a grandmother again - a boy this time.  So it put me in the mood to make a baby card.  I think this is the first time I've made a baby card for a boy.  All my other cards were neutral or for a baby girl.  This is also one of the very few times I've used Papertrey's A Little Argyle stamp set.  I seriously need to use this set more often.  I love how it looks.

Isn't that a darling button on the bow?  It was in my stash of Papertrey Spring Rain buttons.  And I have to say that Fillable Frames #5 is my favorite Fillable Frames stamp and die set.

Cardstock: PTI Spring Rain and Rustic White
Stamps: PTI A Little Argyle, Night Night Moon and Fillable Frames #5
Ink: Memento Summery Sky and Danube Blue
Other: PTI Fillable Frames #5 die, ribbon and button
Size: 4.25" x 5.5"

  1. Okay. Now you are officially my PTI background Stamping Guru! Good lordy that is perfect!!!! I am completely in awe. I tell ya there is a lot more than just that cutie pie button that is darling on this card. It's everything! Can we talk about the argyle (here I go again) and that precious bib, bow, and sentiment. Not to mention the perfect FF for the job too. Fabulous all round.

  2. Linda.......This is just perfect! It's beautiful with the blue and white and just so simple style. Absolutely love it!

  3. Too adorable!
That little frame sets it off perfectly!

  4. Oh so sweet!! Lovely card Linda! Hey the I Rock is a tool that heats up when you hold a button and it fuses special brads, jems and other things. They have glue on the back and stick really fast and you can make any pattern! It is really cool!

  5. Okay, I'm with Jenn! I thought that was patterned paper!! Great card.

  6. This is so soft looking. Keep using that Argyle, your great at it.

  7. Hi! LOVE the card! Would you please tell me where you got the blue argyle paper? It matches my baby's diaper cover fabric that I am using for his first birthday PERFECTLY and I would love to use that paper in his invitations! Thank you!!!
